Last Saturday, a group of us from NGS went for a cycling trip to the eastern part of Singapore.
After meeting at NUS, we made our epic cross-country bus journey to East Coast Park. We rented some bikes and got on our way towards the east. We cycled all along the beach in the park before getting to the Changi airport area. Here, you can really see the jets taking off next to you or flying above your head - quite a sight! Going even further, we reached our destination: Changi Village. We laid down our bikes, took a rest and had a well deserved lunch at a hawker centre nearby.

We rode back the same way, occasionally envying the Tiger Airways passengers covering the runway distance significantly faster than us.
The map shows the route we went along, almost 36 km both ways!
I can really say, this is a very nice route, so for all of you who haven't been around here yet, I can definitely recommend it!
And of course, we hope to see many of you on our next event!:)
