Guidelines for abstract submission
If you are interested in presenting an oral or poster presentation at the NGS T.I.D.E.S 2017 Symposium, please send us your abstract at the following link.
Both the oral and poster presentation should aim to communicate the research you are/were doing to a general audience.
When you submit your abstract, be sure to indicate whether you are interested in the oral or poster presentation. Include your abstract in the field labelled "Abstract".
Please limit your abstracts to within 300 words.

Oral presentation
Please prepare your oral presentation for a general academic audience.
A possible presentation outline is shown below:
The total duration of the oral presentation is 15 minutes (10 minutes for presentation and 5 minutes for Q&A).

- Introduce your research as if you are doing it for your family or relatives
- Emphasize why your research matters or what problem it solves
- Omit the small details and focus on the big picture
- Talk about what worked, what didn't and what you have learnt
- Summarize and look at your research in retrospect and into the future
